After about 3 months of working 1 day a week, I’ve finally finished my first woodworking project. Greek key desk - originally designed by Armand Sussman, with plans in the book Fast Furniture. I went ahead and purchased the book because the plans provided online were more or less just a cut list and the book did a great job of explaining how all of the pieces went together.
Once this project was about 1/2 done I ordered wood to build another desk of the same style for Jen, with the slight variation it has to be purple and white. Some 30 board feed of Purpleheart arrived and was milled down to 3/4 inch stock.
And the list of projects for this summer:
- Second Greek Key Desk (Purple & White)
- Teak Patio Set
- Entertainment center (Mahogany & Steel)
- Adirondack Lounge Chairs for the yard
